Employees represent one of the most important competitive advantages of all organizations. Every organization must be aware that employee satisfaction is one of the basic conditions for a organization to be successful, especially when it comes to administrative office, where business success depends largely on employees.
The aim of the thesis is to conduct a research on employee satisfaction at the Ormož administrative unit during the period from 2009 to 2018 and to compare the results with the Slovenian average employee satisfaction at administrative units in Slovenia. The purpose of the survey was to determine the movement of employee satisfaction over a longer period of time - whether employee satisfaction increased, remained at the same level or decreased compared to previous years and to determine which dimension of quality was rated the worst at the Ormož administrative unit - where is the opportunity for improvement. When testing the hypotheses, we found out that the satisfaction of employees at Ormož administrative unit is quite high, as the results show high average scores, even higher compared to the Slovenian average of administrative units in Slovenia, and that there is a large increase in these ratings, especially in the initial period of the questionnaire, while too little progress has been seen in recent years. It was also established that Ormož administrative unit must pay more attention to the relationship between employees and superiors, the personal growth of employees and their attitude to quality.
