In the studied company, in accordance with the strategic plans of kitchen manufacturing, the decision to renovate the process with the purpose to increase productivity and improve its quality has been made. In the context of the thesis we made a model of the kitchen manufacturing process in the notation of BPMN and suggested organizational and technological changes of the process in places where the deficiencies were found. We have found several information bottlenecks, which could be solved solved by installing a terminal with a bar code scanner on specific workplaces. The bar code scanner would read an information about technological process from a bar code and it would also confirm its successful tehnological operation. The production is also in need of some organizational changes, such as the increasing the storage areas by setting up new storage racks and the introduction of new workplaces in order to relieve the exiting ones with too many activities. In the thesis we have shown that establishing the information system on workplaces would solve most of the problems, which occur during the current technological operations. Furthermore, small organizational changes would certainly ensure smoother and more reliable production.
