We address the problem of inadequate protection of smaller companies. Main focus is on an antivirus program and a packet capture device. We introduce cyberattacks, review different types of malware and make an introduction to information security. We also set up a test site, where we test the effectiveness of the protection of end devices and the effectiveness of network monitoring using cyberattacks. Performance of each solution is evaluated by analyzing the test results.
