In our country, the factory town of Kidricevo is the first form of connection, interdependence and integration of the community and the company. Due to spatial interdependence and influence, good cooperation with stakeholders from direct surroundings is even more important for the company; it is crucial for the company to be aware of the expectations and wishes of the stakeholders. After all, stakeholder theory also states that a company is not isolated in its operations and that it influences (whether it wants to or not) the community in which it operates and other entities. The first part of the master's thesis is theoretical and intended to review the literature on the role and categorization of stakeholders, as well as to review the creation, problems and changes of factory towns, where the relationship between stakeholders and the company is particularly exposed. In the second part, we focus on a study of the example, namely on the analysis of the integration and interdependence between the town of Kidričevo and the Talum company. We will answer the research questions using the information obtained through in-depth interviews to give a picture of Talum's relationships with stakeholders, especially with the local community.
