The purpose of the masters theise was to examine the effectiveness of the rehabiliton and remediation charasteristics windthrow area. The study includeed wind breakage surface on Črnivc and Bohor incurred during summer storms in 2008. We have twentyone sample plots (10 m x 10 m) on natural resurfacing and just as much an artificial resurfacing, wich were mostl planted with sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplantanus L.). In 2012 and 2014 we analyzed the chararateristics of seedlings and dominant trees. It was carried out a census of density and coverage natural seedlings and coverage herbs and shrubs. We recorded seventeen (17) different tree spices. The density of natural seedlings in natural renovated areas was 29.524 specimens per ha and 7.460 specimens per ha in the artificial reconstructions. The density of seedlings during measurements an average increase of 555 specimens / ha per year, in the natural regeneration. Climax tree spices in view of the density of the naturally reconstructed areas was 74 % and 31 % or artificial reconstruction. Herbs and shrubs were obscured on average 99% surface and have negative impact on densityof seedlings. From 2012 to 2014 it collapsed 15,9 % seedlings and 9,6 % dominant trees. Greater likehood of survival had trees, wich in the past had a larger root collar diameter and more relaxed crown. Seedlings were on average higher than the dominant trees. The relative height incerements dominant trees were larger that seedlings. Shock post- transplant seedlings resolved after three years.
