Organizational atmosphere and satisfaction have important role in the business world. It is important, for managers to keep in mind, that employees are a key part of the organization. Their (lack of ) satisfaction reflects in their performance. Satisfied employees do their work well. Their satisfaction is affected by organizational climate factors. Satisfied employees know, that their work contributes to the activity of the entire. Due to this, the organization must study the organizational climate in order to the information on potential changes which would contribute to a more efficient performance of the employees.
The goal of this thesis is to study the organizational climate in a chosen administrative unit and to determine the way if affects the employees. The research was carried out using a questionnaire to collect the data from the employees of a chosen administrative unit.
The results of the research show that the communication between the management and the employees is successful, which also applies for conflict resolution. The relationship between the employees is respectful, they take full responsibility for their work. However, they would like to have more opportunities for additional education and better stimulation and rewarding system for successfully carried out work. According to employees, the managers do not appreciate their work enough. A proposal for improvement could be to carry out monthly anonymous surveys on the (lack of) satisfaction among the employees within the organization
