Domestic murders are despite being shocking often criminal acts that affect family of victim and offender as well as their environment. They are consequence of domestic violence, which includes intimate violence, violence of children, violence of parents and violence between other members of family, especially siblings. Therefore we know intimate murders, paricide, filicide and familicide, including murders of siblings. Intimate murders are most frequent, but not only as offender killing its victim after long period of violence, but also because some offenders were actually victims for a very long period and at the end become murders of their own bully. Paricide is second group of family murders that origin from violence of parents against children or are consequence of mental issues of a child. Another group are filicides that can be consequence of mental problems or happen in the moment, as if children’s terror is just too much for parents to handle. Last group are familicides, especially murders between siblings, that can happen because of domestic violence, competition or jealousy. Other family murders are rare, but still not less shocking that all the rest.
