The diploma thesis describes operation and programming of a robot cell for automatic packaging of automotive products. At the beginning an automated production line from which a robot cell for automatic packaging was extended is briefly introduced. A description of operations of systems in robotic cell for automatic product packaging is given. The hardware and software used to create robot cell for packaging are presented. Some parts of the program are also given.
Chain conveyor program is described in more detail. Robot cell for packaging, as described in the thesis, will become an indispensable part of the production process at LTH Castings.
