The following work presents urban and topographic-morphological development of settlement on a broader confluence area of Savinja and Voglajna, and a spatial and urban development of Celeia during late La Tène, early Roman settlement, up to emperial Celeia at the end of the 5th century. First part describes hydrographic changes, antique buildings, roads, cloacae, fortifications, and burial grounds in an ancient town. It introduces building phases, elements for phase's dating, used materials, and ground surfaces, which are shown in altitudes. These surfaces helped us determine primary geomorphological shape of Celeia and proved existence of »an island« among meanders of Savinja river. The second part presents development of an antique Celeia, which was made possible by new geomorphological and hydrologic data, re-dating of old and researches of new excavations.
