Ženska kolekcija kopalk z inspiracijo v 50. in 60. letih

Namen diplomskega dela je bil oblikovati žensko kolekcijo kopalk in modnih dodatkov v obliki plavalnih kapic. Kot glavna inspiracija je služilo obdobje 50. in 60. let prejšnjega stoletja, predvsem silhuete ženskih oblačil takratne mode in optični vzorci, ki izhajajo iz op art umetnosti iz 60.tih let. V teoretičnem delu sem raziskovala zgodovino mode, predvsem kopalno modo in družbene vplive na razvoj le-te. V preteklosti so kopalke pogosto služile kot indikator družbenih razmer v svetu, nakazovale tehnološki napredek v modi in bile pokazatelj položaja žensk po svetu. V diplomski nalogi sem predstavila ključne osebe in drzne oblikovalce, ki so igrali pomembno vlogo v razvoju kopalne mode. V praktičnem delu je predstavljena ženska kolekcija kopalk z modnimi dodatki v obliki plavalnih kapic. Poudarek kolekcije je na uporabi enostavnih grafičnih vzorcev in močnih kontrastov, ki lahko optično preoblikujejo žensko telo. Dodan je element volančkov, ki je na modne dodatke prenesen v bolj organski obliki. Kopalke so oblikovane za sodobno žensko s pridihom nostalgije preteklih časov.

Izvleček

The purpose of this thesis was to create a women's collection of bathing suits and fashion accessories in the form of swimming caps. The collection's main inspiration were the 1950s and 1960s, especially in relation to the silhuette of the women's fashion of the time and the optical patterns of Op Art, an art movement from the 1960s. The theoretical part of the thesis explores the history of fashion, specifically swimwear, and the social influences on its development. In the past, the bathing suit often served as an indicator of social circumstances, showcased the technological progress in fashion, and illustrated the status of women in the world. This thesis presents the key personalities and daring designers that played an important role in the evolution of swimwear. The practical part of the thesis introduces a line of women's bathing suits and fashion accessories in the from of swimming caps. The collection's main emphasis is the use of simple graphic patterns and strong contrasts that can optically reshape a woman's body. The element of frills has been added, tranfered to the accessories in a more organic form. The swimwear was designed for the modern woman with a touch of nostalgia for the times past.
