The content of the master's thesis is about a series of mashup videos about contemporary online culture and the vulnerabilities and potential dangers that we are exposed to on the Internet.
After the introduction, the text continues by describing the concept of the author and copyright in the digital age. It covers fair use and presents the European parliament Directive on copyright in the digital single market. Those subjects and visuals are then used to present the remix culture, appropriation art and video mashup.
In the second part the text introduces four video concepts through the phenomenon of cyber and real-life violence – R L, Revenge Porn, Cyberstalking and Sextortion. That is followed by the description of the creative process, and the works are also presented in an independent exhibition titled (?_?), that took place in the Aksioma project space.
