The theoretical part of the diploma thesis provides an overview of the selected literature, where the pain and division of medicines according to their intended use is defined. Acetylsalicylic acid, or Aspirin, has been defined, from the history of detection to the synthesis of its present form. The literature on contemporary approaches to teaching chemistry has been reviewed. Particular emphasis is placed on experimental work and laboratory techniques, which are crucial for understanding the prepared study material below. The threefold nature of chemical concepts is defined as well as the related abstraction of chemistry, information and communication technology and the context of life situations.
The practical part of the diploma thesis consists of an analysis of the use of the mobile application Register zdravil (Register of Medicinal products) and a tabular overview of medicines containing the active substance acetylsalicylic acid and a description of their indications. After rewieving the primary education system, teaching contents on health, medicines, medicine and carboxylic acids were analyzed. The teaching material of the five possible experiments provides an opportunity to relate to the context of life situations that is appropriate for students in the ninth grade of primary school. In support of teachers, instructions have been developed for teachers and students on the topic of aspirin or acetylsalicylic acid in everyday lives which can be included in the teaching of the Oxygen containing organic compounds in the elementary school chemistry curriculum.
