When investigating the welding processes, in addition to controlling the movement of the welding arc, we must also control temperature, deposit dimensions, melt size, etc. The integration of measurement and control systems, as well as the development of control algorithms, is best suited for development in the LabView programming environment. We want to explore the possibilities of using open source CNC controller solutions to integrate CNC positioning systems with the LabView programming environment. Control of the whole system has been developed. The system controls Arduino Uno controller using Grbl software. The efficiency of the controlled process was tested in the field of 3D welding. The system is effective on smaller products.
