The purpose of this undergraduate thesis is to introduce the exercise programs for mothers and babies.
The thesis is a monograph. The first part of the thesis theoretically deals with the mother and baby themselves. Beginning commences with the postnatal period of a woman, the changes of her body, the emotional perception of the postnatal period and the importance od postnatal exercise. Furthermore, the thesis discusses even mothly development of the baby up to one year. Because development varies from person to person the warning signs of disorder development of a baby are described. Second part consists of organized exercise for mothers and also exercises for babies. Each of the exercise programs is described in detail and illustrated with photograps.
Organized group exercise programs for mothers with babies have a positive impact on well-being and overall fitness of the mothers. At the same time, the exercises strengthen the bond between mothers and their babies. The exercises are suitable for mothers in postpartum period but they still allow mothers to relax and focus on thmeselves and their babies.
