In buildings there is offten moisture, when the building comes in touch with water od water vapour. This happens with building materials, which are porous. The most frequent sources of water vapour are humans, houseplants and activities which involve cooking, drying laundry, showering and bathing. Water can come into a construction in many ways. Some can be prevented easily (e.g. capillary rise), others require standard methods. For diffusion of water vapour we use the Glaser method (ISO 13788). In the following final thesis we explain the Glaser method and how to prevent diffusion of water vapour.
