The theme of this master thesis is artistic creativity of children. Main field of interest is how is a method of conveying a motif (by memory, by observation and by imagination) is connected with factors of artistic creativity by Karlavaris (originality, flexibility, fluency, elaboration and redefinition) and how can we stimulate creativity with art therapy or by implementing elements of art therapy while working with children. For this purpose a qualitative multiple case study was carried out on a sample of 10 children. Each child will create 6 artworks: drawing and painting task by memory, drawing and painting task by imagination and drawing and painting task by observation. Using Karlavaris factors of artistic creativity children's artworks will be independently evaluated by a three member expert panel. Results of the study will be used as a foundation for establishing directions of stimulating creativity with art therapy or by implementing elements of art therapy while working with children will be formed.
