Thesis is related to the design of 3D electric cabinets with the program of German company EPLAN Software & Services Pro Panel, which enables the user to simplify and speed up the design. In the thesis are described the most important functions that are enabled by the program. The aim of the thesis is to create the manual that will help users to design 3D electrical cabinets in EPLAN Pro Panel.
The main part of the thesis is divided into five sub-chapters that guide us from the basics of electrical cabinets to the final project builded in EPLAN Pro Panel. The first subchapter describes electrical cabinets, what we need to know before purchase, the versions of cabinets, the standards that are important, and the unwritten rules for placing electrical components on the mounting Panel. In the second part, the EPLAN Software & Services company and the solutions that offers for various industries are presented. The third subchapter describes the installation of EPLAN software. The fourth subchapter presents the most important features and commands that EPLAN Pro Panel offers. Functions are followed in the same sequence as used in real design. How to create project and 3D space, the element definition in 3D space and electrical enclosure, the connections between elements, the installation of air conditioners, the generation of report and documentation and the data export is described in this part. In the last subchapter, an example of the final project made by EXOR ETI and created with diferent tools provided by EPLAN Software & Service is presented.
