Abstract
Magistrsko delo proučuje stanje na področju digitalnih tehnologij v slovenskih osnovnih šolah ter digitalno pismenost osnovnošolskih otrok. Ugotovitve magistrskega dela kažejo, da je bolj smiselno kot govoriti o posameznih vrstah pismenosti (računalniška, medijska, informacijska) uporabljati izraz digitalna kompetenca. Digitalna doba je nekoč znano ločnico združila v celovitejši in primernejši izraz. Hkrati je bilo ugotovljeno, da je stanje s tehnološkega vidika, opremljenost šol z IKT opremo, dobro, vendar to ni zagotovilo za dvig digitalne kompetence pri učečih. Ugotovljeno je bilo tudi, da čas, v katerem živimo, zahteva nujne spremembe osnovnošolskih ter dodelavo obstoječih študijskih programov, katerih končni produkt je učitelj. Eni izmed rezultatov magistrskega dela so tudi predlogi za izboljšave stanja.

Title:Introduction of Digital Technologies and Learning about Computer Literacy in Primary School in Slovenia
Abstract:
This master's thesis examines the situation in the field of digital technologies in Slovenian primary schools and the digital literacy of children in primary schools. The findings of the thesis show that it is more sensible to use the term digital competence than to refer to different types of digital literacies (i.e. computer literacy, media literacy or information literacy). Digital competence combines all the literacies one must master to be sufficiently competent in the digital era. From a technological point of view, it has been established that schools are well equipped with ICT technology; however, that does not guarantee the raising of digital competence among pupils. The thesis has also found that the present times call for urgent changes in primary school programmes and in study programmes, since the latter present the basis for educating teachers. Consequently, the master's thesis gives suggestions for improvement of the current situation.
