Žanrski elementi v romanu Georga Kleina Libidissi : diplomsko delo

Georg Klein je svoj roman Libidisi podnaslovil Nemški tajni agent v primežu orientalskega mesta. S tem je označil žanr svojega dela, ki je potemtakem vohunski roman. A Libidisi je kompleksno literarno delo, ki ne vsebuje le žanrskih značilnosti vohunskega romana, ampak tudi značilnosti trilerja, trdega detektivskega romana, antiutopije in klasičnega detektivskega romana, nazadnje pa ga je mogoče razumeti celo kot družbenokritični roman. Pričujoče delo se osredotoča na analizo elementov različnih žanrov, s katerimi je mogoče asociirati Libidisi. Jedro diplomske naloge sestavljata predstavitev temeljnih značilnosti analiziranih žanrov in analiza načinov njihovega izraza v Kleinovem romanu.

Izvleček

Georg Klein subtitled his novel A German spy in the clutches of an oriental city indicating that the genre of his work is spy fiction. However, Libidissi is a complex literary work which incorporates not only the characteristics of a spy novel but also the characteristics of a thriller, hard-boiled detective novel, dystopian novel, and classic detective novel. Finally, it may be even interpreted as a social novel. This thesis is focused on the analysis of the elements of different genres which the novel Libidissi may be associated with. The main part of this thesis consists of a presentation of the basic characteristics of the analyzed genres and the analysis of their manifestation in Klein's novel.
