This MA thesis studies all the seven novels by Beno Zupančič and the way the author dealt with the World War II in the novels. The main question of the thesis is how the author evaluates various segments on the World War II in Slovene lands. The segments are presented through the narrators. The author examines the occupation, the resistance against the occupation, the revolution, the counter-revolution, and the collaboration. The analysis was done with the help of imagology, and was done linguistically and stylistically. The very choice of events which are included in the novels and their evaluation by the author were studied too.
