Introduction: Composites are artificial materials made from an organic matrix, an inorganic filler and a bond. In dentistry they are defined as direct and indirect restorative materials. Modern composites contain fillers that make it easier to polish the material, as well as improvements in the organic matrix, which have also reduced polymerization contractions, and improved the material's resistance to different forces. Aim: The purpose of the thesis is to present the process of making composite veneers with a heat-cured composite and light-cured composite. The procedure is supported by images and detailed descriptions of each step. Methods: The main source of information has been provided by published Slovene and foreign (English and Croatian) scientific professional articles and books. Literature search was conducted in libraries and proffesional databases. Results: In dental laboratory we made two composite veneers, one with heat-cured composite and one with light-cured composite. For composite inlay we used light-cured composite. Discussin and conslusion: In the oral cavity composite materials are subject to different external and internal influences (temperature, different types of food and beverages, the pH of the saliva). By improving the composition of modern composite materials extends their life expectancy, functionality and aesthetics of composite restorations.
