Marička Žnidaršič, Ivan Čampa and Jože Udovič were writers, who were marked by Inner Carniola, a province in the southern part of Slovenia. Their poetry can be divided into three broader themes: war, provincial and love. Žnidaršič often described her feelings with impressions of nature, Čampa sticked to the strictest possible form of sonnet, meanwhile Udovič was more free-spirited. The general central library in Cerknica is named after Udovič, branch unit in Stari trg is named after Žnidaršič and the other branch unit in Nova vas is named after Čampa.
