Introduction: Throughout our entire life, we learn refined andcultural behavion. These rules or general etiquette can be constantly updated and upgraded, we use it primarily in everyday life. The rules are changing with time and the environment, as well as human values, so these rules need to be adapted. Business dishonesty differs from the general dishonor according to it’s purpose, it is defined by stricter, precisely defined rules and serves us for communication in the business world. Therefore, without the existence and awareness of those rules of bonton, we may find ourselves in a situations, where our communication may be inappropriate or even offensive. The most important thing for our profession is the communication between a laboratory dental prosthetics and a dentist, since this enables us to exist and to grown in our profession. In our diploma work we will describe what is business bonton and it's advantages for the company. We will touch upon the importance of the first impression and learn more about the importance of relevant and the consequences of inadequate business communication in the companies. With the help of the questionnaire we send to dental laboratories across Slovenia, we will and compared the results with already known professional literature. Since we believe that a suitable demonstration product is important for every dental laboratory we attached and describe the procedures of making a dental restoration- which in our case is the solo full-ceramic crowns on the plaster model on the teeth 23, 24, 25, 26. Purposes: The purpose of the diploma work is to compare the questionnaire results with already known professional literature in the field of business bonton, first impression and communication. Methods of work: For the methods of work we came from the study of domestic and foreign literature of business bonton and communication, and compared this results with the results of the questionnaire. Results: We obtained the results with the help of a questionnaire, which we sent to various dental laboratories across Slovenia. We were interested in how different laboratories are aware of the importance of business bonton, correct communication in the business world, and how they present themselves at the first meeting with the future business partner.Discussion and conclusion: Through the diploma work we described and presented the influence of business bonton and the importance of business communication in the management of the dental laboratory, and with the research we confirmed, that with this knowledge, we can prevent and avoid unwanted problems and things that could harm our business.
