In business, adapting to rapid changes and innovations that are consequences of globalization is of essential importance for successful performance. In order to follow the changes dictated by the society and the market, organizations today respond to this development with reforming their business processes.
Granting credit is one of the business processes that is chosen frequently and by an increasing number of individuals. Before deciding, one studies the offers available and selects the best option for obtaining credit. Precisely because of numerous alternatives or rather strong competition on the market, banks strive for improvement of business processes and business in general. Consequently, they also try to become the most favourable provider of credit-related services.
The aim of the thesis is to present the process of getting a mortgage, its disadvantages and its reformation, including the positive effects of this revised process for the organization and its performance. For easier understanding, the thesis first explains the theoretical basis of the process, describes the chosen organization and finally presents the existing and the renewed procedure. The reformation of the process was done in iGrafx, where simulations helped discover weaknesses and prove that the procedure can be faster than the existing one.
