Community should be aware that satisfied employees are a very important factor in achieving greater business performance. The purpose of the thesis is to investigate to what extent employees are familiar with family-friendly measures implemented by their company, and with what difficulties they are faced with in the reconciliation of work and family. Based on these findings, management can eliminate the problems that arise, which means a better atmosphere and satisfaction among employees, and above all a better productivity. The company's management is obligated to detect possible problems in reconciling the professional and family life of its employees, it is compulsory to take action and this contribute to a better atmosphere in the company.
The survey method was used during the research. A survey questionnaire was distributed among employees in a family-friendly company. The results have shown that family-friendly measures are both, the well-being of employees, and the reconciliation of work and the family with the fight against stress and overload of work, as well as for the benefit of the community. An important finding of the survey is that employees are well aware of all the measures that are offered to them, both by the chosen and the comparable company, and that the family-friendly measures bring them greater satisfaction at work.
Almost every employee who creates a family, meets the problem of balancing work and family. It is therefore important that the communities and the representatives of the state are aware of this and strive to solve the problem. The introduction of family-friendly measures is therefore both positive for the community and employees, as it brings less absence from work, less stressful situations, less conflicts among employees, and efficieness and effectivness functioning of the community.
