The selected thesis deals with the concept of an unreliable narrator and its practical applications in the medium of comics. The analytical research part of the thesis discusses illustration, comics, and their place in the world of narration. It also defines the unreliable narrator and his forms and analyzes the methods of their visual application alongside existing cases in the fields of book illustration, film, and comics. The practical part involves the production of a representative comic book with an unreliable narrator where it deals with the problems of creating an appropriate plot device, building the story, and using this way of visual narrative in a sensible manner.
