Naslov:Strenght analysis of wooden structural bond using finite element method
Izvleček:
In the thesis the strength calculation of the structural wooden bond based on the analytical methods according to the Eurocode system and calculation using a finite element method is compared. The bond was also made and its load capacity tested experimentally. For the finite element method calculation, Solidworks program was used, where the bond material was modelled as a linear orthotropic. The mechanical properties of the material were determined experimentally with bending and compression tests. It was found out that lower forces of the bond are obtained using Eurocode analytical calculations, while values obtained from the finite element method are comparable to the experimentally obtain values. Based on the findings, it can be said that the use of the finite element method for the construction purposes of wooden bindings is reasonable, but additional safety factors must be taken into account in the praxis, while the values obtained by the analytical calculation according to the Eurocode system are lower and already contain safety factors.
