The purpose of the task is to deal with the constructional adjustment of the Suzuki Swift 1.3 AWD car to fit the Yamaha FJR 1300 motorcycle engine. The exchange will significantly reduce the car's weight and increase its power. Car, which we used for the project, has an all-wheel drive in the original version, in our project the drive was processed so that only the last pair of wheels are driven. The replacement process was as follows: First, we removed the existing engine and transmission and the front axle from the car. Then we inserted the motorcycle engine and positioned it appropriately, we made intermediate mountings for the engine. Yamaha FJR uses cardan transmission to the rear wheel drive system, so it was necessary to create an intermediate link for the transmission of power in our application, by which we connected the output shaft of the unit with the differential cardan. As we have learned, the direction of rotation of the output cardan of the Yamaha engine is the opposite of the one in Suzuki Swift, so we had to rotate the last differential by 180 degrees and fabricate its mounting. In order to enable gear changing, we have attached a fabricated holder and a new gear lever on the existing gearbox arm, which is attached via the lever to the gearbox of the unit through the firewall. We used all the motorcycle electric components, and the tank with the fuel pump from the car.
