The bachelor’s thesis presents four technical standards for carrying out tests. The standards relate to electromagnetic compatibility tests, which are also referred to in the EMC Directive (electromagnetic compatibility). The main requirements for carrying out the test and setting up the test setup are described. Standards are in the same family of standards and also contain similar requirements for the test setup. Therefore, I could also prepare a test setup in the DEWESoft company where they are now testing the accordance of their devices with the standard procedures. In the company, they develop electrical equipment for measuring, which is powered by an AC less than 1 kV or DC 1.5 kV. Therefore, they belong to the group which is covered by the SIST EN 61326-1 standard. The standard specifies the test levels for the test procedures in groups separated by the environment in which it will be located normally. The standard also refers to standardized tests for resistance to electromagnetic interference, among which I have focused on:
⦁ electrostatic discharge immunity test (SIST EN 61000-4-2),
⦁ electrical fast transient/burst immunity test (SIST EN 61000-4-4),
⦁ surge immunity test (SIST EN 61000-4-5).
Standardized test procedures require certain equipment in a prepared test site at which tests can be carried out. Therefore, the bachelor’s thesis describes the requirements for the test setup and the procedure for carrying out the test for each standard.
