Football attendance is well researched abroad. In Slovenia not much has been written on that topic. In this work home attendance analysis for two biggest Slovenian football clubs is presented. Most important variables chosen from literature were used to analyse their effects on attendance. Weather, home team and away team form and time of kick off were collected and analysed. Comparisons between the two analysed clubs showed some differences. Two regression analyses were run; one for each club. Regression for NK Olimpija showed average daily temperature on the day of kick off, form of the home club and the presence of away team NK Maribor to be statistically significant. Regression for NK Maribor found temperature on the day of kick off , the presence of their biggest rival NK Olimpija as an away team and round of the analysed fixture to be statistically significant influence on the home match attendance. Maribor form was not as big of a factor as was for Olimpija. Some tips for future research is given at the end of work to aid future endeavour in this field.
