The thesis discusses a design of a pneumatic system, which is capable to accelerate a chosen projectile to a velocity of 250 m/s. The projectile is a steel ball of a certain diameter. During the design process as many standard components as possible were used. The most important components of the system were selected based on calculations of pressure and temperature. The thesis presents the design process and the calculations used to determine the device parameters, as well as the overview of the key components of the system. The complete technical documentation is included.
