Hčerino doživljanje vloge matere v obdobju najstništva

Abstract
V magistrskem delu je avtorica raziskovala, kako hčerke doživljajo svoj odnos z materjo v obdobju adolescence. V teoretičnem delu magistrske naloge je predstavljena družina in razmejitve ter vloge v družini. Ker ima mati posebno vez z otrokom že od rojstva, se je avtorica nato osredotočila na teorijo navezanosti in na pomen navezanosti v odrasli dobi. Na podlagi tega se je nato navezala na starševstvo in na materinstvo, saj imata velik vpliv na razvoj otroka. Od splošnega okvirja je avtorica nato prešla na teme, ki so neposredno vezane na raziskavo. Opisano je najstništvo, oblikovanje ženske spolne identitete, vloga matere v obdobju najstništva in pa komunikacija ter razmejitve v odnosu mati – hči. V empiričnem delu se je avtorica odločila za kvalitativno raziskovanje, in sicer za fenomenološko metodo, saj se ta najbolj približa doživljanjem udeležencev raziskave. S pomočjo polstrukturiranih intervjujev je opravila pogovore s šestimi udeleženkami raziskave. Glavna vprašanja so bila, kako hčerke doživljajo svojo mater, kaj si od nje želijo in ali obstajajo meje v njunem odnosu. Analiza je potekala na podlagi povzetkov vsakega posameznega intervjuja. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da si udeleženke od matere želijo predvsem varnost, razumevanje in podporo. Na svojo mamo gledajo kot na prijateljico, vendar zanje to ni takšno prijateljstvo, kot ga poznamo.

Title:Daughter's Experiencing of Mother Role in Adolescence
Abstract:
This master thesis investigates the mother - daughter relationship during the adolescence. In the theoretical part of the thesis, family and the roles in the family are presented. Since mother has a special bond with the child from the child's birth, the author decided to focus on the attachment theory and the importance of the attachment from the adolescence to the adulthood. After that the focus was given to the parenthood and motherhood, because they both have a significant effect on a child's development. After the basic description of the theme the author introduces specific themes connected with the research of the thesis. So we learn about teenage years, female gender identity development, the role of mother in adolescence, communication and demarcation line between mother and daughter. In the empirical part of the thesis the author presents the qualitative research with the phenomenological method, which easily shows the experience and the feelings of the participants. Author had half-structured interviews with six research participants. the main questions were: how daughters experience their mothers, what do they feel about them, what do they wish from their mothers and are there any borders in their relationship. The results of the research show that the participants desire security, understanding and support from their mothers. They think of their mothers as a friend, but this friendship is not the one we are used to.
