In my thesis, I described the problem of employee turnover for external employees in the company Kadrovske storitve d.o.o., whose primary activity is to hire out workers to work for other user companies. The purpose of the thesis is to show employee turnover as an important problem faced by all companies, analyze its factors on a practical case and to provide findings to reduce employee turnover. In the theoretical part, I defined employee turnover and various types, the causes for its formation, the consequences for organizations or employees and how we calculate it. In the following part, I compared the level of fluctuation in different sectors and defined the position of agency workers in Slovenia. In the empirical part, I made an analysis of the fluctuation for company Kadrovske stortive d.o.o. including year 2016 in 2017 for external employees, which I divided on positive and negative for the company and employees. Based on interviews with consultants for employees and companies, I analyzed the causes and gave an opinion on the effectiveness of these measures in the proposed improvements.
