The purpose of the thesis is to show that the life of people with disabilities is already sufficiently obstructed, and then there is an obstacle in studying and employment as they do not have the same opportunities in this regard as other people. In my thesis, I will explore and compare how life in some countries of the European Union is regulated, whose countries have better conditions for employment of disabled people and whose countries have better conditions for studying disabled people. In doing so, I will also focus on human rights and various laws, procedures in connection with studies, employment of people with disabilities and the importance of personal assistance for people with disabilities. This year, 2017, a new Personal Assisting Disability Act came into force, which also brought some changes in this area.
The main objective is to present a legal basis in countries with regulated conditions for studies and countries that are regulated in relation to employment for people with disabilities. The second objective is to show what countries that do not have a well-regulated legal status for people with disabilities can improve in order to make people with disabilities feel equal opportunities. Also present proposal for improving study and employment opportunities.
