This thesis is about exhibition activity in kindergarten. I relied with the creation of the platforms on the exhibiton of the pedagogical concept of Reggio Emilio.
Firstly, I will present the exhibition activities of the concept of Reggio Emilio and its characteristics. I will focus on the visual aspect, since the visual design presents one of the most important elements of the concept of Reggio Emilio. Moreover, I will connect it with art activities from the Curriculum for kindergartens and search for similarities and differences. Our environment is different from the environment in which the concept of Reggio Emilia created and therefore require certain modifications in the applications of different activities in our preschool system.
In the thesis I will try to explore what can we use in the public kindergarten in Slovenia in the context of the exhibition of the activities and its influence on the children. .
Furthermore, I will address the participation of children and related pedagogy and the pedagogy of listening. I will present the importance of participation and listening and expressing the »hundred languages« in the framework of the exhibition activities in the kindergarten, its impact on children, educators and adults.
In practical part I will perform a research project »Make your own exhibition«. Children will discover through games, artistic creation and research what an exhibition it is. We will visit the exhibition in the library and have a look under the guidance of the head of the exhibition activities. The children will produce a variety of fine products from natural, unstructed material. They will participate in photo shooting in the presence of the teachers of artistic education. At the end they will prepare their own exhibition and present it to their parents, nursery and to the children.
The analysis will follow by the whole project, also the findings and answers to the posed research questions.
