Abstract
V pričujočem delu predstavim izgradnjo in nadgradnjo dejanskega optičnega dostopovnega omrežja, ki pelje vlakno do doma (angl. Fiber to the home – FTTH) in je v lasti Telekoma Slovenije. Diplomsko delo vsebuje opis izgradnje optičnega omrežja FTTH po arhitekturi točka–točka (angl. Point to point – P2P) in točka–več točk (angl. Point to multipoint – P2MP). Predstavljena so tudi orodja in naprave, ki jih potrebujemo pri izgradnji optičnih dostopovnih omrežij. V diplomskem delu poudarim prihodnje tehnologije pri izgradnji optičnega omrežja, ki stremijo k višjim prenosnim zmogljivostim, najmanj 1 Gbit/s zmogljivosti v dotoku. Predstavim možnosti nadgradnje trenutnega gigabitnega pasivnega optičnega omrežja (angl. Gigabit passive opticalnetwork – omrežja GPON) v pasivna optična omrežja naslednje generacije (angl. Title:An Upgrade of Telekom Slovenije's Optical Access Networks
Abstract:
In my thesis I am presenting the construction and the updating of the FTTH fiber access network, that is already in existance, owned by Telekom Slovenije. The diploma includes the detailed descriptions of constructing the FTTH optic network, architecture types "Point-to-Point (PTP)" and "Point-to-Multipoint (P2MP)". It also introduces and describes the tools, needed for these constructive procedures. I will also be presenting those future-planned constructive technologies, which would enable higher transferring speeds, with the 1Gbit/s download being the slowest. Furthermore, I will introduce the possibilities of upgrading the existing "Gigabit passive optical network (GPON)", into "Next generation passive optical network (NGPON)".
