This diploma thesis shows the analysis of electric distribution network of Ljubljana Airport. Ljubljana Airport is the biggest Slovenian airport and lies 26 kilometers northwest of Ljubljana.
The purpose of the diploma thesis is to identify the largest consumers connected to network with network analysis. Then we can take measures for more economical operation of consumers on the airport.
The diploma thesis consists of several parts. Each part represents one transformer station, which is then further analyzed in that part. First, I reviewed the average power consumption throughout the year. Then I choose the most and least loaded month on a transformer in transformer stations and I analyzed them. At the end of each part, I reviewed how the daily power consumption changes over different periods of the year. In the diploma thesis I also describe the parallel operation of transformers, aging of transformers and the short-break redundant power supply method and the redundant power supply using the UPS system.
The thesis ends with findings and suggestions for improvements.
