AMERIŠKA IMPERIALIZEM IN NJEGOV VPLIV NA IZRAELSKO-PALESTINSKI KONFLIKT

Bližnji vzhod, lahko mu rečemo tudi zibelka človeštva, je ozemlje, kjer se prepletajo različne kulture in vere že od večnosti. Z vidika zgodovine je bil Bližnji vzhod vedno zelo napeto območje. V obdobju sodobne zgodovine smo priče boju med dvema narodoma, ki traja že skoraj 100 let. Začetki konflikta med Izraelci in Palestinci segajo v konec 19. stoletja, ko se je začelo postopno preseljevanje Judov v Palestino. Ob podpori britanske vlade z Balfursko deklaracijo in dovoljenjem Britancev, da imajo Judje lastno obrambo, je napetost med njimi počasi prerasla v spopade. Judje so se močno zavzemali za ustanovitev judovske države, kar jim je ob pomoči mednarodne skupnosti 14. maja 1948 tudi uspelo. Kljub ustanovitvi lastne države Judje še vedno niso dosegli miru. Dan po razglasitvi države Izrael so jih skupno napadle vojske petih arabskih držav. Zaradi organiziranosti, finančne moči in podpore zahodnih držav je Izrael prvo vojno proti Arabcem dobil, sledilo je stoletje bojev, ki trajajo še danes. Na krizo Bližnjega vzhoda vpliva veliko dejavnikov, ki narekujejo dogodke in vodijo vojne »za demokracijo«. Najbolj izpostavljeni dejavniki so naftni lobi in izraelski lobi, ki ima velik vpliv na ameriški Kongres ter ne nazadnje tudi zunanja politika Združenih držav Amerike in zahodnoevropskih držav. Diplomatska in denarna pomoč Izraelu s strani Združenih držav Amerike še kako koristi pri izvajanju agresije nad palestinskim narodom. Kljub antisemitistični nastrojenosti bivšega predsednika Baracka Obame se zunanja politika Združenih držav Amerike ni prav dosti spremenila. V zadnjem letu njegovega mandata je bil sklenjen nov sporazum o denarni pomoči Združenih držav Amerike Izraelu. V letu 2016 se je začelo novo obdobje predsedovanja Donalda Trumpa, ki je s svojimi govori že nakazal, v katero smer se nagibala njegova zunanja politika do Bližnjega vzhoda. S časom bomo videli, kaj se novega obeta razrušeni in destabilizirani regiji.

• Title: AMERICAN IMPERISALISM AND ITS IMPAKT ON ISRAEL-PALESTINE CONFLICT

Abstract

The Middle East, it can also be said of him as the cradle of humanity, a territory where different cultures and religions intertwine from memory. Historically, the Middle East region has always been a tempo-rary bomb waiting to explode. In recent history, we have witnessed a struggle between two peoples, which has lasted almost 100 years. The beginnings of conflict between Israelis and Palestinians date back to the end of the 19th century, when the gradual resettlement of Jews to Palestine began. With the support of the British government with the Balfour Declaration and the permission of the British to have their own defense, the tension between them slowly turned onto conflicts. The Jews strongly advocated the founding of the Jewish state, which, with the help of the international community, succeeded on May 14, 1948. However, despite the establishment of ther own stat, the Jews still did not get the desired peace. The day after the proclamation of the State of Israel, it was attaced by the armies of five Arab counzties jointly. Because of its organization, financial strength and support of Western countries Israel won the first war against the Arabs. It was followed by a century of tiring warfare and wars that continue to this day. The Middle East crisis has many factors. The most exposed factors that dictate the events and wage war for »democracy« are undoubtedly the oil lobby, the Israeli lobby, which has a major impact on the U.S. Congress and, last but no least, is the foreign policy of the United States and Western European countries. Diplomatic and monetary aid to Israel, by America, is also beneficial in carrying out aggression against the Palestinian people. In spite of the anti-Semitism of Barack Obama, the foreign policy of the United States has not changed much. In the last year of his mandate, a new U.S. Monetary Assistance Agreement was concluded. There is a new era, the period of Donald Trump, who has already indicated his speech to his country's foreign policy to the Middle East. It will only be time to show what a new prospect is to the demolished and destabilized Region.
