Zanesljivost delovanja in izpusti onesnažil dvogorivnega motorja tovornjaka

Abstract
V delu smo preverili delovanje in količino izpustov onesnažil preizkusnega motorja tovornjaka s kompresijskim vžigom, ki je bil opremljen s sistemom za dvogorivno delovanje, v dizelskem in dvogorivnem načinu delovanja. Predvidevali smo, da je trenutno vgrajen sistem na tovornjaku neustrezen s stališča klenkanja v motorju in izpustov onesnažil. Meritve so bile opravljene v realnem prometnem toku. Na podlagi meritev tlakov v valju smo izvedli analizo klenkanja. Z rezultati analiz smo ocenili zanesljivost delovanja motorja. Opravili smo tudi analizo izpustov onesnažil CO2, CO, THC, NOx in delcev PM10, in jih primerjali v obeh načinih delovanja. Z analizami smo ovrednotili pravilnost hipoteze. Ugotovili smo, da se v dvogorivnem načinu delovanju motorja klenkanje ni pojavilo. Največje amplitude nihanja tlaka v valju so se pojavile pri nizkih obremenitvah. Izpusti onesnažil CO in THC so bili v dvogorivnem načinu delovanja zelo visoki, zlasti pri nizkih obremenitvah zaradi nizkih temperatur v valju in neustreznega krmiljenja plinskega sistema. Izpusti onesnažil NOx so se v dvogorivnem načinu praviloma povečali in ne zmanjšali, kot je bilo pričakovano. Izpusti delcev PM10 so bili v dvogorivnem načinu pri višjih obremenitvah nižji v primerjavi z dizelskim načinom delovanja. Vgrajen plinski sistem je sicer stroškovno ugodnejši, a se je izkazal za neustreznega zaradi neprimerne krmilne strategije in slabe integracije v krmilne sisteme motorja tovornjaka.

Title:Reliability of operation and emissions of pollutants of the dual-fuel truck engine
Abstract:
This thesis observes the performance and quantity of pollutants emissions of the compression ignition engine of the truck equipped with the dual-fuel operation system, which was analysed in the diesel and dual-fuel mode. We assumed that the retrofitted system of the truck was inadequate from the standpoint of engine knocking and emissions of pollutants. Measurements were performed in real conditions. Based on measurements of the pressure in the cylinder, we performed knocking analysis. With analysis results we assessed the reliability of the engine performance. We also conducted an analysis of CO2, CO, THC, NOx and PM10 emissions, and compared them in both operation modes. Performed analyses confirmed inadequacy of the retrofitted system. The results showed there was no knocking occurence in the dual-fuel operation. The largest pressure amplitudes in the cylinder were measured at the low loads. CO and THC emissions were very high in the dual-fuel operation, in particular at low loads due to low temperatures in the cylinder and inadequate gas system control. NOx emissions increased in most operating points of the engine. PM10 emissions were lower at high loads in the dual-fuel mode in comparison with the diesel operation system. Although the purchasing costs of the retrofitted system is lower, it proved to be inadequate due to an inappropriate control strategy and poor integration into the engine control systems of the truck.
