Abstract
Po naravi smo ljudje družabna bitja in se že od pradavnine združujemo v razna plemena, skupnosti, društva in skupine. Sodobna družba poskuša s svojo tehnologijo in spodbujanjem tekmovalnosti čedalje bolj individualizirati posameznika. S kvantitativno raziskavo, ki bo izvedena v dveh korakih, bomo ugotavljali, kako optimalno oblikovati skupino in jo usmeriti do boljših rezultatov v okviru realizacije likovne naloge.

Title:Groupwork in art education in ninth year of primary school
Abstract:
By nature, people are social beings and since ancient times we have been uniting in various tribes, communities, societies and groups. The modern society is trying to further individualize an individual with its technology and by stimulating competitiveness. The purpose of this master's thesis is to study the possibilities of creating a learning environment in classes of Fine arts, where pupils could connect, learn from one another, complement each other and thus progress together in the framework of achieving the given learning objectives. Using the questionnaire and action research, we will determine how to optimally shape the group and direct it towards better results in the realization of the artistic task. In the theoretical part, with the help of literature, we will identify the potentials and disadvantages of team work, what type of group and modeling groups we know, and what the role of the teacher is. We will also explore ways of group work of selected foreign and Slovenian art groups. In the empirical part, we will conduct a survey among pupils of the 9th grade of elementary school who will participate in the research, in order to find out their opinion and experience about group work. On the basis of the results of the survey, we will conduct an action research, in which we will learn step-by-step needs and shortcomings of team work and will make improvements. We expect that the results of the research will enable us to develop guidelines for improving group work in classes of Fine arts in the ninth grade of elementary school, in order to provide examples of good practice for teachers, showing how to effectively create an interesting group work for students.
