Abstract
Predstavljeni so celotni procesi izdelave kolekcij igrač.

Title:
Creating toys from waste textile
Abstract:
The aim of the diploma thesis is the design of toys made entirely of waste textile. In the thesis, the entire process is demonstrated from the inspiration to the final product. Toys in general are presented in the theoretical part. Namely, play, toys, how they are categorized and what they are supposed to be. Also, three well known brands of designer textile toys are presented in this part of the thesis. This is followed by the concept of recycling in general and more specifically recycling of textile and sustainable handling of textile. The theoretical part concludes with sustainable toys, which are getting increasingly more attention as children and environment friendly. The history of the plush teddy bear is depicted in the beginning of the experimental part of the diploma thesis, which is the thread and the basic design of the entire work. Further, entire processes of toy collections manufacturing are presented. This part of the thesis includes everything from the selection of materials and testing print to the final execution of three collections of teddy bears. The idea concept that directed the design process is also depicted. Each collection has its own starting point, which opens up numerous opportunities. Every individual piece and its characteristics are presented in each of the collections.
