KVANTITATIVNA ANALIZA BREZPOSELNOSTI MLADIH V SLOVENSKIH OBČINAH

Brezposelnost nakazuje na razmerje med ponudbo in povpraševanjem po delovni sili. Torej je preveliko povpraševanje glede na izbrano ponudbo. V diplomskem delu sem se osredotočila na brezposelnost mladih, saj so bili v času svetovne gospodarske krize najbolj zapostavljeni. V diplomskem delu sem se osredotočila na primerjavo slovenskih občin, ki sem jih primerjala glede na brezposelnost mladih. V teoretičnem delu sem predstavila teorijo brezposelnosti, v empiričnem pa sem preverjala tri hipoteze. Ugotovila sem, da je v zadnjih treh letih brezposelnost mladih upadla, najvišja pa je še vedno v vzhodni kohezijski regiji. Z regresijsko analizo sem ugotavljala, kaj vpliva za brezposelnost mladih po občinah. V regresijski model sem vključila sedem indikatorjev, od katerih sem značilne vplive odkrila pri indeksu staranja, stopnji rasti števila podjetij v občini in koeficientu starostne odvisnosti. Poiskala sem občine, pri katerih so močnejši vplivi drugih dejavnikov in skušala poiskati razloge zanje. Rezultate sem primerjala s podobno študijo v Južni Koreji in na koncu strnila ugotovitve v predloge za zmanjšanje brezposelnosti.

• Title: QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT IN SLOVENIAN MUNICIPALITIES

Abstract

Unemployment indicates the ratio between offer and demand for workforce. Therefore, there is too much demand according to the selected offer. In the diploma thesis, I focused on the youth unemployment because they were most neglected during the global economic crisis. In the diploma thesis, I focused on the comparison of the Slovenian regions, which I compared according to the youth unemployment. I presented the theory of unemployment in the theoretical part and verify three hypotheses in the empirical part. I found out that the youth unemployment fell in the last three years, and the highest is still in the eastern cohesion region. With the regression analysis, I try to found out what is the impact on the youth unemployment by regions. I included seven indicators in the regression model and found out typical effects in the index of aging, the rate of growth in the number of companies in the region and age dependency coefficient. I searched for regions where the other factors have more impacts and tried to find reasons for it. I compared results with a similar study from South Korea and conclude findings into suggestions to reduce unemployment.
