Abstract
Sodobna družba ima vedno večje zahteve glede uporabe in vključevanja informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije (v nadaljevanju IKT) v vse sfere našega življenja, tudi v šole. Te so v zadnjih dveh desetletjih doživljale velike spremembe na področju vzgoje in izobraževanja. Danes si sodobnega vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela brez IKT sploh ne moremo predstavljati. Omogoča nam optimalne pogoje za izvajanje pouka ter razvija spretnosti in kompetence, ki so ključne za uspešno delovanje posameznika v 21. stoletju. Šole so večinoma ustrezno opremljene za izvajanje sodobnega učnega procesa, ker imajo na voljo širok spekter raznovrstne IKT. Stacionarni, prenosni in tablični računalniki, interaktivne table, mobilni telefoni in GPS naprave so le nekatere izmed njih. Zadostna podpora s strani šole spodbuja učitelje k uporabi IKT, čeprav je odločitev za uporabo še vedno na strani učiteljev. IKT tehnologija učiteljem omogoča prehod od podajalcev znanja k usmerjevalcem, ki učence spodbujajo k aktivnemu usvajanju znanja. V magistrskem delu smo na kratko predstavili informacijsko komunikacijsko tehnologijo (v nadaljevanju IKT) in uporabo IKT v izobraževanju, predvsem pri pouku družboslovja v prvem in drugem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju. Ker sta glavna uporabnika IKT v osnovni šoli učitelj in učenec, smo predstavili, kje in na kakšen način IKT uporabljata ter kako nanju vpliva. Zadostna podpora šole za uporabo IKT pri pouku je ključnega pomena, zato smo se v magistrskem delu osredotočili tudi na odnos šole do uporabe IKT. V raziskavi smo se usmerili predvsem na to, kako pogosto in na kakšne načine učitelji razrednega pouka IKT uporabljajo pri pouku družboslovja od 1. do 5. razreda, in kakšne vplive ima uporaba le-tega, kako so za delo z IKT usposobljeni in katera znanja si še želijo pridobiti ter kakšna podpora jim je na voljo za uporabo IKT.

Title:Usage of information-communication technology in the teaching of social studies from first to fifth grade
Abstract:
Modern society increasingly demands the use and inclusion of information and communication technology (ICT) in all spheres of our lives, including schools, which have consequently undergone great changes in the last two decades. Today's educational process can hardly be imagined without the use of ICT. It enables us optimal conditions for a teaching proces and develops skills and competences which are crucial for the successful functioning of individuals in the 21st century. Most schools are sufficiently equipped with a vide range of various ICT to implement modern teaching processes. Desktop and portable computers and tablets, interactive whiteboards, mobile phones and GPS devices are only some of them. Schools encourage teachers to use ICT, however the decision to use it still remains in the hands of individual teachers. ICT enables teachers a transition from the role of the only source of knowledge to facilitators who encourage learners to an active acquisition of knowledge. This master's thesis includes a short introduction of the ICT, its use in education, mostly in the field of social studies. In primary schools ICT is mostly used by teachers and learners, thus we have presented where and how they use it and the influence it has on them. A key element for the use of ICT is a sufficient support of schools, therefore we have also analysed this aspect. The analysis mostly discusses how often and how a teacher from the 1st to the 5th grade uses ICT in social studies classes and the influences of its use, how well the teachers are qualified, what knowledge they still wish to acquire and what kind of support they receive for the use of ICT.
