Abstract
V svoji diplomski nalogi z naslovom Ekonomski in upravni izzivi razvoja uspešnega kmečkega gospodarstva bom predstavil različne vidike vzpostavitve kmetije od samega začetka naprej. Ker me je zanimalo, kako nekaterim vendarle lahko uspe in najdejo pot tam, kjer ni videti steze, sem se odločil poglobiti v področje in ob izdelavi diplomskega dela pridobiti ustrezno znanje. V diplomski nalogi sem uporabil raziskovalno metodo poglobljenega oziroma nestrukturiranega intervjuja.

Title:ECONOMICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE CHALLENGES OF A SUCCESSFUL AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS
Abstract:
In my thesis, entitled “The economic and administrative challenges of the development of a successful agricultural business”, I will present various aspects of setting up the farm from its very beginnings. The reason I choose this topic is a personal desire of farming and establishing fruitful rural economy that will consequently provide for the survival of the family. Seeing that agriculture has been in an extremely difficult position over the past few years, at first sight, reaching this goal is quite unattainable or at least hard to achieve. Since I was very interested how some people still manage to succeed and find a way even though it seems there is not any, I have decided to deepen my knowledge in this field and acquire adequate insight while creating the thesis. In my degree, I have used a research method of so-called in-depth or unstructured interview. The survey was conducted during relaxed conversations with masters of larger farms and with the help of guiding questions that were prepared in advance. Within the analysis of the survey and obtained data, I have gained some crucial answers to the problems confronting young farmers. Further on, I have included some information acquired during my internship that was held on a larger farm where I learned some of the basic operations in the field of administrative obligations in the management of rural economy. Consumers are increasingly striving to consume ecologically and biologically produced food. Since domestic milk is the foundation of raising trust of the buyer, we focused our business plan into milk processing and direct sale to final consumer. Due to the short distribution chain without unnecessary mediators, the profit can be increased several times compared to the delivery of raw milk to a dairy. Regardless the level of the initial investment in the processing part, which is quite bulky, it should still be within the ability of a young ambitious farmer. One of the principles of my writing and one of the leads in a business plan is to ensure the customer quality and credible range of domestic products.
