Abstract

Title:Simulation of car driving in drunken state with virtual reality glasses
Abstract:
Driving a car has become a necessary skill today. A lot of people do not know what kind of responsability they have when they get behind the wheel drunk, because in that moment they really believe they can drive. But statistics show that a lot of accidents and injuries could be avoided if the driver was not drunk at the time. The purpose of this theisis is to create a program, which allows the user to safely and realistically experience how alcohol effects their driving through a simulation. The user is able to experiance driving under the influance of alcohol in a simulated environemnt with the use of virtual reality technology. The tests show that the simulation is a good way to educate people, but in this case using existent virtual reality equipement might not be the best option.
