In the diploma thesis we were researching the responsiveness of Slovenian public administration. We measured how much of the Slovenian public administration responds to emails and private Facebook messages to citizens, and how quickly they respond. The goal of the diploma thesis is to present the current situation in the responsiveness of Slovenian e-government via e-mail and Facebook.
During the research 413 e-mails were sent to selected public administration organizations (municipalities, administrative units, ministries, social and helth centers) and 73 Facebook messages to the municipalities that have a page on Facebook. Based on the results, all organizations do not reply within the deadline of 15 days. Regarding the speed, the selected organizations respond fairly quickly.
The diploma thesis contains presentation of responsiveness of the public administration to messages from citizens in electronic form and enables the public administration to review the current state of affairs and a guide for future reforms.
