Abstract
Kakovost življenja je odvisna od veliko področij, ki so za vsakega posameznika zelo pomembna. Za zaposlenega, ki večino časa preživi na delovnem mestu, pa je kakovost življenja še toliko bolj pomembna. Zaposleni se mora na delovnem mestu počutiti dobro, da lahko svoje delo opravi zadovoljivo, na delovnem mestu mora biti zbran in učinkovit. Poleg tega pa mora za dobro vzdušje poskrbeti seveda tudi doma, kar je še dodatna obremenitev. A vse to pomeni kakovost življenja. Raziskava, ki je bila opravljena v določenih regijah dveh držav, je pokazala veliko razlik. V slovenski koroški regiji se je pokazalo, da je treba za zadovoljivo kakovostno življenje še marsikaj postoriti, a kljub temu rezultati niso bili tako slabi. V regiji sosednje države je mogoče opaziti, da delodajalci upoštevajo zaposlene in jim omogočajo kakovostno življenje; veliko bolj je samo delo cenjeno, plačano in varno. Menim, da bi morali v Sloveniji nujno bolj slediti dobrim praksam naših sosednjih držav in popolnoma opustiti sledenje slabim praksam. Za vzor si raje vzemimo države, ki svoje zaposlene cenijo, jih spoštujejo in jim dajo primerno plačilo. Zaposleni naj se v svojem delovnem okolju počutijo vredne. Vse to namreč vpliva na kakovost življenja, in če vpliva na kakovost življenja, vpliva tudi na delovno mesto in delovne naloge, ki jih zaposleni opravlja. Menim, da mora na tem področju Slovenija še veliko postoriti in urediti.

Title:Research of the life quality of community employees in Koroška region and Austria-Koroška region
Abstract:
Quality of life deals with various spheres which are extremely important for each individual. It is especially important for those workers who spend most of their time at their post. A worker should feel good at work in order to carry out the job adequately and be focused and effective at his post. Besides this he/she needs to provide for good and healthy atmosphere at home, which is an additional burden. However, all these stand for the quality of life. The study, which was performed in certain regions of two countries, showed a lot of differences. In Slovenia, in Carinthian region, the results showed that a lot has to be done regarding quality of life. Nevertheless, the results were not so bad. In region of the neighbouring country it could be noticed that employers take care of their workers and enable them quality life; work itself is much more appreciated, paid and safe. In my opinion Slovenia should follow good practice of our neighbour countries and completely stop following bad examples. Slovenia should look up to countries which appreciate their workers, respect them and give them proper payment for their work. Workers should feel worth and appreciated in their working environment. All these affects quality of life and consequently it affects working post and working tasks the workers perform. In my opinion Slovenia still has a lot of work to do in this area.
