Abstract

Title:Skiing curse within winter school in nature
Abstract:
By the diploma thesis, we wanted to find out how often Slovenian primary schools organize a winter sports school in nature, for which class the sport winter school in nature is organized, what is the participation of pupils, whether the organization adheres to the legal basis and whether they also organize a ski course in the winter sports school, and who teaches at these courses and what knowledge pupils achieve. For this purpose, we created a questionnaire which was sent to 350 Slovenian primary schools. We got ninety answers from sports pedagogue that teaches in these schools. We received the most answers from the central Slovenian region, while the other regions were slightly underrepresented. We obtained the data with the EnKlikAnketa online survey and processed them in the Excel computer program, and interpreted them in comparison with the findings from the theory. We found that most schools organize a winter sports school in nature, and in the course of this, a skiing course runs. In this regard, schools adhere to the recommendations on the class that should go to the winter sports school in nature, they also adhere to the rules on duration and financial costs for pupils, as well in the school in nature pupils are mostly trained by an educated or trained bathtub, which is in accordance with the law. We also found that there are still reserves in improving the organization of the winter sports school in nature, especially in helping children from financially poor families (co-financing, equipment) and motivation for greater participation of children.
