Abstract
Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti vpliv barv na sporočilnost videa. Teoretični del naloge zajema raziskave o samem videu kot načinu komunikacije, o psihološkem vplivu barv ter o procesih barvne korekcije videa. Predstavljeno je, kako različne barve vplivajo na dojemanje posameznika in njegove občutke, medtem ko je izpostavljen nekem mediju. Podrobneje pa se teoretični del naloge poglobi v video, kot medij, ki se danes vedno bolj uporablja za podajanje informacij. Eksperimentalni del zajema proces produkcije in postprodukcije videa. To vključuje tudi pripravo, torej izdelavo snemalne knjige in scenarija. Na dokončanem videu se je z uporabo programske opreme, izvedla barvna korekcijo videa s spreminjanjem barvnih vrednosti. Na ta način je bilo izdelano določeno število variacij videa, med katerimi bo razlika le v barvi, saj so ostale spremenljivke, kot so kadri, osvetlitev in zvok, ostale nespremenjene. Za vsako od variacij videa smo izdelali vprašalnik. S pomočjo tega smo ugotovili, da barve nedvomno vplivajo na sporočilnost videa, vendar pa v vseh primerih ta vpliv ni predvidljiv.

Title:Changing the communication value of video using colour correction in postproduction
Abstract:
The purpose of this diploma thesis was to find out how colors effect the communication value of the video. Theoretical part of the thesis contains research about video, as a way of communication, about psychological effects of color and about process of color correction in postproduciton. We researched the nfluence of different colors on the perception of an individual and his/her emotion, while he/her is exposed to a certain media. The theoretical part goes more in depth when it comes to video, as the media, which is today constantly present as a way of visual communication. Experimental part of the thesis involves the process of video production and postproduction. This also includes preparation, which means creating a script and a storyboard. When the video was finished, the color correction was applied with altering the characteristics of colors. This way we got a certain number of variations of the video, where the only changes were in color values, while other possible variables, like shots, lighting and sound, stayed unaltered. For each variaton of the video, we created a survey. With those surveys we established, that colors undoubtedly effect the communication value of the video, but not always in a predictable manner.
