Abstract
V spletnih podatkovnih bazah (COBIB, Web of Science, SCOPUS, SIPO patenti, znamke in modeli, USPTO Patent full text and image database in DiKUL) so bile poiskane obstoječe raziskave, članki in druge objave v povezavi s to tematiko iz obdobja zadnjih 100 let.

Title:Adjustment of colors for graphic designers with color vision deficiency
Abstract:
This thesis discusses the problematics of color blindness or color vision deficiency. The medical condition was presented in relation to graphic design and later accentuated as a major problem that it represents in this field. Through internet database (COBIB, Web of Science, SCOPUS, SIPO patents, stamps and models, USPTO Patent full text and image database and DiKUL) research, existing studies, articles and other publications concerning the subject were found (in a time frame of the last 100 years) from which a brief highlight of the more interesting discoveries was made. In the course of the study free-access internet tests for diagnosing color blindness were analyzed, evaluated and compared. Later on the same process was repeated with three program tools providing simulation of color vision impairment and with three software tools that help with color identification. It was discovered that “EnChroma Color Blindness Test”, “Ishihara 38 Plates Test” and “Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test” tests provide adequate results for correct usage of the aforementioned software solutions. The best of which was observed in Visolve, as a simulation tool, and in WhatColor (besides Adobe Photoshop CC function Color Picker), as a tool for color identification. Despite modern tools the authors consented that for now normal color perception is irreplaceable. However as long as color vision deficiency remains incurable, these tools have been proven of indispensable value for tasks with which graphic designers are faced - with or without color vision deficiency.

Keywords:graphic design, color blindness, assistive software tools for people with color vision deficiency, diagnostic tests for color blindness
